While the Sportster boombox includes an AC adapter for wall power, it will also run on eight D batteries. The boombox features controls for power and volume, as well as a button that allows you to toggle between satellite radio signals and an external audio input source. The volume can also be controlled by the SPR1 receiver s remote control. External sources such as CD and MP3 players can be connected via a 3.5 mm AUX input jack.
